What you are playing
Warrior Cats: Clans of the Forest is a turn-based Clan RPG. Bamtang Games developed it and Trailmark Games published it. It released on 23 October 2026.
Prophecy Mode is four original Clan stories. Defender Mode and Skirmish Mode are the other two game types, and they are a separate choice from the Clan.
The named places are the ThunderClan, RiverClan, ShadowClan and WindClan territories, plus The Moonpool and The Island. Adventurous Soul asks you to find all 46 map locations. Six of those places have names.
Fights, moves and the achievement list
Battles are turn-based and can be 3 versus 3. There are 75 combat moves. Twenty are universal moves and 15 are ancestral moves. Ten universal moves have a stance, a stamina cost, damage and accuracy.
There are 27 achievements. The percents are a global snapshot, so they will move as more players finish the game.
The creator covers fur, color, tail, whiskers, ears, eyes and markings. Brightheart, Tawnypelt, Tallstar and Ivypool are in the game. You meet 9 cats from the book series.
Price, platforms and the PC floor
The Windows version is $29.99 in the US. PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 are also available. The Prophecy Pack released the same day at $14.99. It is cosmetic: 8 creator accessories, 12 wearables, a cel-shaded skin, 4 photo poses and 4 photo effects. The Feral Edition pairs the base game with that pack at a 12 percent bundle discount.
The minimum PC spec is Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit, a 2.8 GHz quad-core CPU, 8 GB of RAM, a GTX 1060 or RX 580, DirectX 12 and 4 GB of disk. Full audio is English. The interface also supports French, Italian, German, Spanish (Spain) and Dutch.
After you leave the creator
You make an original cat from fur, color, tail, whiskers, ears, eyes and markings, and the combinations run into the millions. That cat meets book-series cats and an original cast. You meet 9 cats from the books, and Brightheart, Tawnypelt, Tallstar and Ivypool are among them.
Forage becomes den items, including bedding and a scratching post. Friend camps, crafting help, gifts and Skirmish battles are asynchronous, so they wait for the other player instead of sharing one live session. Characters, quests and stories are procedurally generated, so there is no single chapter order. King of the Forest asks for 14 bosses. Adventurous Soul asks for all 46 map locations, and six places are named.
What to open first
Start with the four Clan cards if you are choosing a saga. Territories holds The Moonpool, The Island, and the four lands together. Moves holds the ten costs, herbs holds each barter cost, and achievements holds an unlock line with its global percent. Editions holds the $29.99 base game, the $14.99 Prophecy Pack, and the Feral Edition discount. Launch notes hold the 23 October 2026 date and the launch-day note that control complaints were received and are being investigated.
Quarry splits prey and threats: mice, squirrels, birds, rabbits, badgers, foxes, Dobermanns and rival Clan cats. The cat creator covers fur, color, tail, whiskers, ears, eyes and markings, plus the head pieces you barter on top of that. None of those replace the Clan choice. They sit around it.
